The Challenge
- In effort to elevate their branding and better express their values, Woodland Foods approached ColinKurtis when they decided to rebrand to Woodland Gourmet® to appeal to their ideal, gourmet audiences. The focus for the ColinKurtis team was the packaging for Costco for Woodland Gourmet®'s spices, previously named Epicurean Specialty.

Packaging Concepts
We presented a variety of concepts to the Woodland team using different interpretations of their desired branding. Through collaborative brainstorming and multiple design iterations, we developed labels and coordinating trays that elevated the brand and created a cohesive, refined presentation.
THE RESULTS
The refreshed packaging featured a simple, modern color palette, clean yet bold typography and label windows that showcased the seasonings inside the clear shakers—creating greater visibility and shelf appeal. Plus, the new labels included a QR code to let shoppers explore recipes using Woodland Gourmet® spices.
